And what is really sad is when we go through experiences like this it messes with our minds and bodies and affects how much we allowed others to do as well and affects our relationships as well😢 I just pray our little girls never ever have to deal with this!!

Absolutely. My body reacts almost involuntarily at times… even my insecurities feel like an involuntary response at times - like I react before I even can think things through. I have to breathe through these moments to ground myself.

Thank you Abi… I was telling a few friends this morning that it’s one thing to tell your story, but to put it out for the internet to receive and judge what they want to do with it….a bit terrifying. I appreciate you so much ❤️

Oh my goodness, so much truth in that statement! It is scary but I also think it's very powerful.

I’m so sorry. As girls, we were taught in so many ways and in most situations that saying no was not an option, we knew and our bodies knew. 💔

Thank you, Shanna. Yes! One of the things I made sure I taught my kids was that it was ok - necessary to say no. And to be ok with making a scene about it. I also get so disgusted with purity culture not just demanding purity but also refusing to discuss/educate about sex and all of the gray areas that come along with it.

That little bastard was still a kid himself and already had it wired into him it was his right to ignore your decisions over your own body. See guys? This is why millions of women keep choosing the bear. I'm so sorry, Jen. ❤️‍🩹🫂
